COVID:

Do I need to make an appointment to come in? Making an appointment is not required to visit Thomas Markle Jewelers! You are more than welcome to make one by clicking here and we will be sure to set up everything prior to your visit.

Do I need to wear a mask? Yes, we ask that all clients to visit our store please wear a mask. If you have forgotten one, we have a complimentary mask for you at the front door as well.

Can I do curbside pick-up or drop-off of my repair? Absolutely! Please call us when you are on the way and we will be sure to have everything ready for your curbside arrival.


Repairs:

Do you have a jeweler on site or do you send me repair off? Most repairs will be done on-sight. We have a master jeweler at each location that is able to repair nearly everything! We will be sure to let you know if anything needs to be sent directly back to the designer.

How much do you charge to size a ring? The sizing of a ring varies based on metal type and if it’s going up or down a size. Please give us a call and we can best assist over the phone if needed. Please have your ring’s metal type and the size it currently is and what you would like to be sized to. If you don’t know this information please visit and we will quote on the spot!

How long will my repair take? Most of the time repairs take about 2 weeks; sometimes much quicker, sometimes a little longer. We will let you know when you drop it off.

Can I have my repair rushed? Absolutely! There is a $50 rush fee charge, which allows us to move your repair to the front of the line giving us the ability to complete your repair within 48 hours.

My Rolex isn’t running properly. Can I bring my Rolex in to be serviced? Yes! Please bring your Rolex in to either location and we will send to our service center for a free estimate.

Can you replace my watch battery while I wait? Sometimes. If you are going out of town please give a few days prior to your departure for us to complete the battery.  Sometimes the battery can be done on the spot depending on the jeweler’s availability at the time of drop-off.

All Swiss-Made timepieces are $40 to replace the battery. Non-swiss models are $15. We do not replace the battery on eco-drive, solar, or digital watches.

Do you replace battery in my TAG Heuer? We can replace the battery in your TAG Timepiece but it is no longer water-resistant or waterproof. If you swim in your TAG Heuer you are requested to send to TAG Heuer directly for a new water-resistant seal and pressure proofing. Please note, we are not responsible for water entering any timepiece after it’s been opened and the battery has been replaced. You need a new seal after each battery replacement.

Can you engrave my jewelry? Engraving on jewelry is done on a case-by-case basis. It depends on the piece. Only pieces purchased from Thomas Markle Jewelers please.

Can you engrave my watch? If the timepiece was purchased from Thomas Markle Jewelers, we can!


Appraisals:

Can you appraise my jewelry? Yes, we will complimentary appraise any piece purchased from Thomas Markle Jewelers. We also have the ability to appraise outside pieces as well. Please call the store to make an appointment at our next appraisal clinic, which is held once a month.

How long does this take? Each appraisal takes about 20 minutes. Most pieces can be appraised on the spot but if the piece takes more research – we will take a photo and have the appraisal back to you as soon as possible.

Can you buy my jewelry? Yes! Our memorial location is open for buying gold.

What is your trade-up policy? Our diamond studs have a fantastic trade-up policy. Whether you want to purchase larger or better quality diamond studs, spend $1 more on the new set and we will purchase the original pair for the same value you purchased them for – as long as they are from Thomas Markle Jewelers.

What is your Return Policy?

Thomas Markle Jewelers does not offer a return policy. If you are not completely satisfied with your jewelry purchase, please bring it back unworn within 14 days of purchase for an exchange.

All timepieces are non-returnable or exchangeable. All timepieces have the warranty filled out on the spot – and once we do that it cannot be returned or exchanged.
